ADEMCO SECURITY SYSTEMS

TO ARM YOUR SYSTEM:

Once the touch pad (keypad) shows ready, enter your 4 digit user code and the away button (if you are leaving) or the stay button (if you are staying). The touch pad will begin beeping for your countdown – you may exit now.

TO DISARM YOUR SYSTEM:

Enter your 4 digit user code into the touch pad and the off button (which is the number 1 button).

TO TURN THE CHIME ON/OFF:

Enter your 4 digit user code and press the chime (which is the number 9 button).

TO SILENCE YOUR TOUCH PAD FROM BEEPING:

Enter your 4 digit user code and the off button (which is the number 1 button).


GE CADDX & DSC SECURITY SYSTEM

TO ARM YOUR SECURITY SYSTEM:

Once the touch pad (keypad) shows the ready light enter your 4 digit user code. The touch pad will then begin beeping for your countdown – you may leave now.

**Caddx offers a quick arm – you may just push the exit or stay button

TO DISARM YOUR SYSTEM:

Enter your 4 digit user code


WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?

TELCO FAULT/TELEPHONE LINE TROUBLE

The telephone line has lost service – it has been disconnected, it’s out of order, or there are problems with the line. You would need to call your telephone company provider. Then after the lines have been restored you will need to test your system

SYSTEM LOW BATTERY/ZONE LOW BATTERY

Either the system has a low battery – (call our office at 740-775-3473 to get another) or one of your zones has a low battery – (see your user manual or feel free to call our office.)

TOUCHPAD IS BEEPING

If your touch pad is beeping – Please go to the touch pad – it should say what is causing the problem – to silence it enter your 4 digit user code – For Ademco users you will have to enter the number 1 key after.

FIRE LIGHT IS ON (CADDX TOUCHPAD)

Usually means that you have had a fire alarm. To clear your touch pad push *7 on your touch pad
